Under the kind auspices of Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Wuhaib, Chairman of Aramco Gulf Operations Company (AGOC), represented by President & Chief Executive Officer (P&CEO) Engineer Mohammad Al-Shammari, a farewell party was organized to Executive Director Operations (EDO) Engineer Mohammad Al-Shahrani on his retirement from service and Joint Executive Committee (JEC) Secretary Zeyad Yaseen on his moving to work with Dow Chemicals, one of the largest joint ventures of Saudi Aramco. The party was attended by Managing Director of Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) Engineer Bader Nasser Al-Khashti, the General Manager of Ministry of Petroleum, Mr. Mohammad Shehan Al-Zahrani, Chairman of Joint Operations Committee (C-JOC) Engineer Nizar Al-Adsani and the Executive Directors together with the Department Managers.
Mr. Riyadh Al-Hassan, Superintendent of Public and Government Relations Department, opened the get together by welcoming the attendees and delivered a word explaining the major achievements of the honorees. Then AGOC P&CEO Engineer Mohammad Al-Shammari delivered his speech and praised the services of the two gentlemen having worked with AGOC Mr. Shahrani who is retiring and Mr. Zeyad Yaseen on taking his new assignment with Dow Chemicals, as a period which was full of achievements. Wishing them all the best and prosperous life and presented them with trophies and gifts on behalf of AGOC.
Chairman JOC Engineer Nizar Al-Adsani delivered his speech thanking Mr. Al-Shahrani and Mr. Zeyad Yaseen for their services, co-operation and constructive efforts during the last years and also presented them with gifts.
On this occasion Mr. Al-Shahrani in his speech thanked all for attending the honoring celebration and that he is taking with him the fond memories of his seven years association with Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) during which KJO has developed quickly due to the close co-operation between AGOC and KGOC. He further said that the decision for his early retirement from service had surprised many and it was a personal decision due to personal circumstances and wished the company all the best in the coming years.
During his farewell speech Mr. Zeyad Yaseen expressed his gratitude and appreciation on his farewell gathering and said that after nine years of association with AGOC/ KJO it’s not just that easy to leave which has been enjoyable, challenging and rewarding. He said that he still remembers his first day in Al-Khafji in the year 2002 when life in this region was challenging but things have changed for the best over the years and that is what makes him proud and it’s all due to the result of hard work and dedication of all involved in transforming for which he is proud to be part of the team. While concluding he thanked all for their support he received from the first day he joined AGOC/ KJO.
Thereafter, the attendees had lunch and held a photographic session with Mr. Al-Shahrani and Mr. Zeyad Yaseen.
