On 24 November 2010, the two newly appointed Aramco Gulf Operations Company (AGOC) Board Members, Mr. Mohammad Al-Subaie and Mr. AbdulHameed Al-Rushaid, visited Khafji Joint Operations (KJO). Upon arrival they were received by AGOC President & Chief Executive Officer Engineer Mohammad A. Al-Shammari, Executive Director Industrial Services Dr. Ali Al-Malhan and Executive Director Business Administration Mr. Abdulrauf Allarakia.
The senior delegation were briefed about the projects which have been completed, the projects in progress and about the future development plans at KJO. Thereafter, the delegation visited locations inside and outside of KJO premises, including the Desalination Plant in South Area. The delegation then headed to the Khafji Offshore Development Field and were briefed about the development work and then also paid a visit to the KJO Hospital.
At the hospital they were greeted by Mr. Hezab Al-Shammari, Acting Manager Medical Department (MSD) and number of doctors. They also visited the Laboratory, Emergency Wards, Life Support Center and other facilities.
Mr. Mohammad Al-Subaie and Mr. AbdulHameed Al-Rushaid also visited Family Quarters and admired the planning and advanced infrastructure.
Finally the guests were invited to a luncheon in their honor in the Mess Hall, Office Park. The luncheon was attended by the Executive Management including Mr. Qasem Al-Mejadi, Executive Director, Human Resources, Mr. Mohammad Al-Khatib, Executive Director, Operations and Mr. Awwad Al-Azmi, Secretary, Joint Operations Committee (JOC).
While leaving at the end of their visit Mr. Mohammad Al-Subaie and Mr. AbdulHameed Al-Rushaid expressed happiness for the developmental work that they witnessed during their tour and thanked the AGOC higher management for their warm hospitality and reception.
