AGOC celebrates its tenth year anniversary, on February 28, 2010. At the same time, we also celebrate ten years of tireless devotion to work, characterized by significant achievements and successes. We are thankful to those who have supported the company’s ambitions, exerted their best efforts, committed their energies and have given their expertise in order to achieve AGOC’s objectives in all spheres of our operations.

With the passing of this milestone, AGOC has also reached a very challenging stage in its partnership with Al Khafji Joint Operations (KJO). As the New Year commences, another key achievement is the completion of a comprehensive and wide range of KJO Master Plan projects. This will be the firm foundation for the future of our operations.

 Since its commencement, Aramco Gulf Operations has worked jointly with its partners, to adopt a variety of strategic initiatives, to better serve its operations and its staff.   

Our significant achievements include:

• Restructuring of the business and updating of all industrial activities.
• Identification of the strategic direction of our operations.
• Rehabilitation of production, community and office facilities.
• Information technology.
• Development of our human resources.
• Concern and care for the environment.

AGOC fully supports a strongly performing KJO organisation, prepared to face future challenges with oil and gas exploration and production operations in Al Khafji. In addition to fulfilling its responsibility for the Kingdom’s 50% share in the offshore partitioned neutral zone, AGOC also actively participates in the growth and development of the Al Khafji community. This is one of AGOC’s important objectives.

As we acknowledge this tenth anniversary, we also acknowledge that this step is but the beginning of our growing aspirations, buoyed by the loyalty and dedication of the people of this country and our partners. Such tireless ambition for AGOC’s continued success is one of the most important sources of energy for our great country.
